Zentari Construction Ltd, the construction, development and interior design arm of Dinar Holding Kenya Ltd, has introduced AI-assisted interior design as part of its interior design and fit-out services in Kenya.
The service will allow clients to visualise their spaces before work begins. Clients can explore different layouts, finishes, furniture styles, colour schemes and design concepts, giving them a clearer idea of the final space before making key decisions.
The new service will support Zentari’s work across luxury villas, residential developments, commercial projects and interior fit-outs.
The move follows a recent visit to Malaysia by Dinar Holding Kenya CEO Sultan Ahmed Ali Dinar, where he observed how businesses are using artificial intelligence to improve the customer experience.
“In interior design, the client can see different possibilities for their space much earlier. For us, that fits very well with the kind of service we want to offer through Zentari,” said Sultan Ahmed Ali Dinar.
Zentari will use AI to support our designs in developing and presenting concepts to clients. The technology will help our clients communicate their preferences more clearly and make design choices before construction or fit-out reaches an advanced stage.
“Our clients are looking for luxurious spaces that reflect their own taste. We want them to be part of the design process and to see how their ideas can translate into the finished space. AI gives us another way to deliver that experience,” Sultan added.
AI is already gaining ground in the international interior design market. IKEA uses AI-driven technology through IKEA Kreativ to help customers visualise furnishings in their own spaces. Wayfair’s Decorify uses generative AI to reimagine rooms in different styles, while Houzz Pro uses AI-powered tools to turn 2D plans into 3D floor plans and create more detailed project visualisations.
Through this service, Zentari Construction is bringing the same direction into its growing luxury construction and interior design offering in Kenya.
